Pick one head photo for your AI influencer and swap it onto each new shot. SwapShoot replaces the whole head, hair included, and keeps the pose, outfit and lighting, so the same face shows up on every post. Each swap takes about a minute. Start with 5 free swaps.

## Why AI influencer faces drift

Image generators make a new face every time you ask for a new picture. You can describe the same person in the prompt and still get a slightly different nose, jaw or hairline in each shot. Over a week of posts that drift adds up, and followers notice that the character does not quite look like themselves.

A face swap fixes part of this. It puts the same face on each image but keeps whatever hair the generator drew. If the hair changes colour, length or parting from post to post, the character still looks inconsistent.

A head swap fixes the hair too. It replaces the whole head, face and hair together, from one reference photo, and the rest of the shot stays as it was. The [head swap guide](https://swapshoot.com/head-swap) shows what changes and what stays.

## Workflow: one reference head, many shots

Step 1: choose a master head photo. Pick one clear, front-facing photo of your character's head with the face and hair fully visible. You will use this file on every swap, so take the time to get it right.

Step 2: make the scenes. Generate or shoot the new pictures with any tool you like. The outfit, pose, place and light are what matter here; the face in them will be replaced.

Step 3: swap the head on each shot. Upload a scene, then the master head photo, and press Swap head. About a minute later you get the same scene back with your character's head on it. The [pose-preserving head swap guide](https://swapshoot.com/pose-preserving-head-swap) explains what is kept.

Step 4: keep the master head the same. Use the same file every time. If you swap in a different head photo now and then, you bring the drift back.

Tip: the closer the head photo matches the scene, the cleaner the result. Aim for a similar head angle and similar light in both. A head turned the other way, or lit from the opposite side, is harder to place and may need another try.

## What the swap keeps

Each row is one swap: the original shot, the head photo used, and the result. The face and the hair change; the pose, outfit, background and light stay as they were.

### Olive jacket

- Original: ![Original: man with a buzz cut and stubble in an olive shirt jacket, in dappled forest light](https://swapshoot.com/img/olive-jacket-target.jpg)
- New head: ![New head: clean-shaven man with short dark side-parted hair on a plain grey background](https://swapshoot.com/img/olive-jacket-head.jpg)
- Swapped: ![Swapped: the same forest shot with short dark side-parted hair; the olive jacket, pose and dappled light are unchanged](https://swapshoot.com/img/olive-jacket-result.jpg)

A buzz cut and stubble become short, side-parted dark hair and a clean shave. The olive shirt jacket and the dappled forest light stay unchanged.

### Shore at dusk

- New head: ![New head: woman with straight ash-blonde hair facing the camera on a plain grey background](https://swapshoot.com/img/shore-flare-head.jpg)
- Swapped: ![Swapped: the same dusk shoreline shot with straight ash-blonde hair; the turtleneck, sea and warm light are unchanged](https://swapshoot.com/img/shore-flare-result.jpg)

Shoulder-length auburn hair becomes straight ash-blonde hair. The black turtleneck, the sea at dusk and the warm light at the bottom of the frame stay unchanged.

## For agencies running several models

If you run several AI models, keep one master head photo per model and name it clearly. Every swap for that model uses that file and nothing else. That one habit does most of the work of keeping each face consistent across a team.

To pick a plan, count the swaps your posting schedule needs. The table below is an illustration, not a figure from real accounts: it assumes one swap per image and a 30-day month. Three posts a day with two variants each comes to about 180 swaps, which fits Basic. If you run more than one model, Pro gives you the most swaps for the price.

**Swaps a posting schedule needs in 30 days**

| Schedule | Swaps in 30 days | Cheapest option |
|---|---|---|
| 1 post a day | 30 | Pay as you go: $4.20 |
| 2 posts a day | 60 | Pay as you go: $8.40 |
| 3 posts a day, 2 variants each | 180 | Basic: $19 for 190 swaps |
| 2 models, 3 posts a day, 2 variants each | 360 | Pro: $39 for 435 swaps |

An illustration: one swap per image over 30 days.

## Pricing for daily posting

Each account starts with 5 free swaps: the first is clean and the next four carry a small SwapShoot watermark. Use them to test your master head photo on a few scenes before you pay anything.

After that, pay as you go at $0.14 a swap, or buy a 30-day pass if you post every day. Basic is the one we recommend, and Pro brings a swap down to about $0.09. Passes are paid once and never charge you again automatically, and a yearly pass gets you one month free. Paid swaps have no watermark, and you pay in crypto. See [plans and prices](https://swapshoot.com/pricing) for the full details.

**SwapShoot prices in US dollars**

| Option | Price | Swaps | Per swap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pay as you go | $0.14 a swap | 20 or more, never expire | $0.14 |
| Starter | $9 for 30 days | 82 | About $0.11 |
| Basic (recommended) | $19 for 30 days | 190 | $0.10 |
| Pro | $39 for 30 days | 435 | About $0.09 |

## What it doesn't do

SwapShoot works with still photos only. It does not swap heads in video or GIFs.

It handles one face per swap and works best when that face is clearly visible. Hair across the face, a hand over the eyes or an extreme angle can need another try. Results are kept in your Library and deleted within 24 hours, so download each swap when it is ready. Uploads are not kept, and photos are never used for training.

There is no API yet. If you need a large volume of swaps, get in touch through the link at the end of this page.

## Questions

### How do I keep the same face on an AI influencer?

Use one master head photo for every post and swap it onto each new shot. SwapShoot replaces the whole head, face and hair, and keeps the pose, outfit and light of each shot.

### Does it swap hair too?

Yes. It swaps the whole head, so the hair comes from your master head photo, not from the generated shot.

### How many swaps do I need for daily posting?

Count one swap per image. Three posts a day with two variants each is about 180 swaps in 30 days, which fits the Basic pass. The table on this page shows other schedules.

### Can I use it for adult content?

Yes. SwapShoot permits lawful, consensual adult creative edits in still photos. Everyone depicted must be 18 or older. Sexualised or intimate edits require every identifiable person's explicit, informed permission for the specific edit and any intended publication or distribution. You must also have the image rights and follow the Terms and Responsible use rules.
